Have a wonderful Sunday!

Has anyone tried using Chat GPT for trading? I've tried a few videos in the past month and it didn't work for me, so I decided to give it a try. Chat GPT itself can't trade for me, but it can help create a bot. To create the bot I used a strategy by Matt Giannino that enters a trade when the RSI is below 30 and sells when the RSI is above 70 (long) and then short exactly the opposite. Check out the video, I'm not that versed in this so I don't know if my description is accurate. I then pasted the code into TradingView and started testing. Well, after a month, I am in profit 1.3%. For the first 14 days I was still tweaking the entries and exits according to Matt, but then unfortunately I had a holiday in Motol, so it ran as it was :D The experience was definitely interesting and I'm going to keep playing with it, but I'm definitely still in the team of people who hold long-term, because trading, even using a bot, still eats up a lot of time and to have a decent result I would have to understand it more than just watching a few videos.

Another way to do it is that you can also get the bot to create the bot by throwing in a video from a youtuber who can transcribe it, because they can do the transcription, so you don't even have to watch the videos. If you want to try it too, you need to have a paid Chat GPT.

Thanks for the interesting report, I hadn't thought of that at all. Definitely keep the info coming on how he'll do in the long run. If he's successful, I'd just add... THEY'RE TAKING OUR JOBS!

Yeah well :D I had to at least try. I'm fascinated by how much the chat can handle, even though it's still in its infancy. I'm taking it with a grain of salt, of course, it's still got a lot of bugs, but I'm enjoying it...just what it can do with text is saving me time:)

A program created by artificial intelligence may contain bugs. I wouldn't trust him with my money. The more complex the program, the more likely it is to bug.

I agree with that, it's in its infancy, maybe it will be better in time:) on the other hand, there wasn't much code here. It's just a matter of rechecked nor simple code into TradingView. But if one has some sophisticated strategy, then again it will be about something else.
