Hey. Hey,

I've been thinking about this for a while, but until now I've been buying mostly from the S&P 500 and FTSE 100 ETFs. I read an article about global ETFs and started thinking about it in the context of how prices on the US stock market have skyrocketed since the election compared to prices on European stock markets. In that context, it would make the most sense to me now to expand my ETF to include a global index.

What do you think? Do you buy global indices?

I guess the question is how the index will be composed. I don't want a global index in my portfolio, so I only buy stocks from Europe that are TOP for me.

Yes, it's a matter of opinion. Do you also hold any indices or mainly individual stocks?

I haven't bought SPY for a few years now, I have IWDA where most of the US and other developed markets are and then I have a few top European stocks on the side.

Great! Indexes are a great thing for me, as it is quite well distributed risk

That's an interesting thought. The question is what will be in those extra global ETFs, since a lot of global ETFs will be largely made up of US equities as well. I might just focus on individual stocks from Europe.

Yes, that's a possibility too. As I said in the post, I hold the UK FTSE 100 index, which is not great so far, but I firmly believe it will go up in the future.
