Nio $NIO has come into focus ahead of the June delivery data after Deutsche Bank's tracker showed it is picking up more new orders in China than Tesla $TSLA — 14,500 in the past week and 34,000 in two weeks, versus 12,600 and 25,700 for Tesla.

Nio delivered 37,705 cars in May, the best month of 2026, but to meet its own second-quarter target (110–115 thousand vehicles) it needs to deliver 42,939 to 47,939 units in June — a sequential increase of 14 to 27% versus May. That's a very ambitious bar, and it's exactly what the market is nervously watching.
