What do you think of Donald Trump's appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health?
This guy is quite famous for his criticism of the pharmaceutical industry. Several pharmaceutical stocks plunged in price after this news, and $MRNA-2.4%stock saw a significant drop (-7%). I've sold some stocks in this sector this year, so I'm not that bothered. I currently only have $CVS-5.7% and I want to hold that for now.
Companies like $MRNA-2.4% or $PFE-5.3% will probably have the biggest problem with this and we'll see how the rest of the stocks in this sector behave.
I'm not going to lie, honestly it would be better if it didn't have too much of an impact and companies would still thrive.
I guess this move was to be expected, I myself am interested to see what effect this will have on healthcare stocks.
